another rainy tuesday

What is happening to the summer? Its making it quiet in Frome as people are not keen on shopping in the rain. Every morning I put the dry bunting outside the shop and every evening I take it in wet. At least the inside of the shop is bright and refreshing. It always makes me smile when i unlock the door and step in.

we have just set up a new display in the shop. "Inspired by Millie Moon, created by you..." This give us a great opportunity to show photographs of projects copmpleted by our customers.
I will try to get some photos on here tomorrow for you to see.

lets hope for the sunshine

Photos of the shop

Our beautiful Shop

We have just opened our first shop in the gorgeous market town of Frome in Somerset. As you walk up the cobbled Catherine Hill, you will see Millie Moon haberdashery boutique on the left hand side. A beautiful double fronted white shop with red spotty bunting hanging outside. One window is dressed with AMY BUTLER fabrics including a cute little vintage deck chair that has been re-covered with the fabric, bags and cushions. The other window has some fantastic mannequins dressed in items made from fabrics by Katie Jump Rope for Freespirit. A vintage singer sewing machine takes pride of place on a glass table surrounded by sewing luxuries, lovely ribbons and buttons.
